                         WELCOME

Welcome to the North Carolina Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.

The North Carolina Branch of the International Dyslexia Association, Inc.
is a 501©(3) non-profit, scientific and educational organization, which
was formed to increase public awareness of dyslexia in North Carolina.
Our branch was established in 1986.

Many of our 300 plus members are actively involved in the treatment and
remediation of dyslexia. Our members are educators, psychologists,
physicians, social workers, tutors, individuals with dyslexia and parents
who have dealt with learning disability issues within the local and private schools.

If you are a dyslexic, parent of a dyslexic, teacher or other professional interested in working to make the lives of dyslexics richer and more productive, please consider joining our national organization.  In doing so you will automatically become a member of the North Carolina Branch.  We encourage you to join us in our mission.
